INSIDE LADYGUNN SS25 DINNER WITH GAVIN ROSSDALE AT RAY’S: MEZCAL COCKTAILS, DOWNTOWN ICONS, AND A LITTLE MISCHIEF

Beneath the neon hum of the Lower East Side, down a fuzzy, narrow staircase into a secret room @ Ray’s. LADYGUNN hosted an intimate dinner in celebration of our SS’25 25.4 cover star — rock icon Gavin Rossdale.

Guests toasted with smoked salt rimmed cocktails under flickering candlelight, as concierge mavens served spicy crab dip and sliders on sterling silver trays. DJ Chichi curated a moody, magnetic soundtrack for a room full of artists, legends, and provocateurs — a heady mix for the intelligent minds and unspoken appetites in the low light.

Guest of honor Gavin arrived with his longtime girlfriend, the illustrious and absolutely stunning musician and star XHØANA X, and his Bush bandmates. New friends from across the city and beyond soon joined, and everyone was welcomed in full force by NYC’s most elite underground creative set. There was an Anna (Delvey)X Anna (Bloda) moment when two of New York’s reigning blondes met for the first time. LADYGUNN founder Koko Ntuen and Editor-in-Chief Phil Gomez circled the room like satellites, orbiting clusters of conversation, flirtation, and mischief. Gotham gift bags lined the room, filled to the brim with curated treasures from Strange Love, Puff C0 and irreverent keepsakes.

The night blurred in the best way — Spontaneous toasts turned into the most entertaining serenades, mezcal was shaken and poured, lustful glances stolen, joints passed, girl dinners had, and of course, tits came out later.
It felt like a love letter to connection — unguarded, unexpected, and deeply real.
