On a budding spring day, three creatures entered the wild yet glorious streets of New York City. After hours of getting their noses and ears seared on by a team of passionate artists and designers, the three goblins took to the Metropolitan Museum steps to gossip and interact with the “normal” creatures of the world. The public embraced these goblins wherever they stepped foot. A Norwegian tourist family of four came up to ask the green goblin, “Can you give us a task?” She made the family climb the MET steps three times over, because exercise is also important to goblins, which many people do not realize.
After congregating at the steps, the lush greenery of Central Park began to call them. Creeping past a nearby playground, the children took notice. They were stormed by parents and kids smiling and begging to take pictures; the creatures felt like Santa Clause or a Taylor Swift impersonator at a children’s birthday party, yet they were just themselves…
To the park they continued to slither, where the creatures got into some conflicts in their trio dynamics (polyamory). Nothing too serious thankfully. … Strangers would ask, “Why are you doing this?” Their response was, “We’re in a band. Stream our new single: Glizorp.” The rest of the afternoon, the creatures chased runners on the running path and scared teenage boys on bikes, the usual. The three ended their day at a fountain smoking and playing hide and go seek – because everyone deserves a little fun once in a while. They reflected upon the day, and how the city embraced them for whoever and whatever they were.
