“Like I’m at a disco party on rollerskates…” is a line in Chazzy’s pop-bop that is representative of all the feelings that the song evokes. The Los Angeles based singer/ songwriter finally put her vision into visuals with her new music video for “Floating,” and the pops of bubblegum-pink throughout it portray just how vibrant the vocalist is in her craft.
“They say to visualize what you want and lemme tell ya that shit is for real,” Chazzy made known when she spoke about the brilliance behind the video. “I knew that Floating was special to me. So I took everything I had and put it together. Worked 60 hours a week all summer to do this damn thing!”
The video is not only reflective of the hard work that was put into bringing Floating to life, it also has created a movement that promotes never being apologetic for being your sassiest self. The psychedelic disco vibes are a colorful candyland that everyone wants to enjoy. Thanks to Chazzy and her collaboration with Moxi Skates to make this all possible, everyone actually can enjoy it by joining the movement with the worldwide #Floating dance challenge.
“I put my heart, soul, blood, sweat, and tears into this music video. I literally busted my ass (on those skates) to get this video where I wanted it to be…and now I’m fuckin addicted to makin music videos so look out!” the multi-faceted artist stated. What’s next for Chazzy may be unknown, but we’re all ecstatic to watch her skate and groove her way to stardom.
