Tucked away behind the unassuming Lovinâ Cup Cafe, Williamsburgâs Cameo Gallery is a unique venue for music, theater, comedy, and visual art. When you walk into the open black box above the downstairs bar, you feel like youâve stumbled upon a secret artistsâ oasis where, on any given night, you can see performance art followed by live music. Up-and-coming bands are always slated throughout the week and, on Wednesdays, they typically have live comedy (Zach Galifianakis and Aziz Ansari recently popped in for a surprise visit). No matter whatâs scheduled during the evening, by midnight the space often transforms into a DJ-spinning dance party. www.cameony.com Band featured in photo: Bikini
