Leitvox unveils the second single from his forthcoming EP, Post-Era, continuing to expand his vision as a producer and composer. Based in Miami since 2013, he has developed a distinctive sound from his Wynwood studio, working on original material while collaborating with international voices. His catalog includes “Fall From You” and “Floating Promises,” projects that featured contributions from Ian Rubin (NIN), Gavin Clark (UNKLE), and Nina Miranda (Smoke City).
The new single, titled “Ghost,” blends a striking mix of sounds and melodies. Leitvox creates a surreal yet inviting atmosphere, blending every layer into a soundscape unlike anything you may have heard before.
The theme of “Ghost” carries a dystopian tone. Today, we rely heavily on technology for nearly everything. This digital presence surrounds us like a collection of unseen ghosts, influencing our choices and behaviors. In exchange for comfort and convenience, we give away pieces of our independence and sense of self. This concept echoes themes found in cyberpunk works such as Blade Runner and Cyberpunk 2077. While we are not yet in a distant future, the line between dystopian fiction and our current reality feels increasingly blurred.
“Ghost” is part of Leitvox’s forthcoming EP, “Post-Era.” The project is designed as an anthology, with each track resembling a self-contained story, much like an episode of The Twilight Zone. While each song has its own identity, the central focus remains the complex relationship between humans and technology, drawing inspiration from the anxieties of our modern world.
With “Ghost,” Leitvox encourages listeners to reflect on the state of our lives today.
