Congratulations on the success of “Reacher” Season 2! What has been the most rewarding aspect of being part of such a hit show?
“It’s been an incredible journey with ‘Reacher’ Season 2. Working with my old showrunner Nick Santora again feels like a full-circle moment. Also, being able to learn and execute a lot of my own stunts was pretty rewarding as well.”
“Reacher” became Amazon’s top title of 2023 globally. What do you think resonates with audiences the most about the series?
“I think it’s simplicity is actually what resonates with most people. It’s a feel-good show where the good guys win and the bad guys get what’s coming, but it’s also filled with heart.”
Transitioning from roles like Chloe in “Ballers” to Dixon in “Reacher” involves different dynamics. How do you approach character development across such diverse projects?
“It’s always different for each character. That’s why I love my job so much; I get to explore all these different facets of the human experience.”
As the CEO and co-founder of Blueprint, could you tell us more about the inspiration behind the platform and what sets it apart from other educational resources?
“BLUEPRINT uses the power of storytelling from influential world figures to connect at a personal learning level. Based in science and backed by data, it feels like watching a Netflix documentary aligned with state standards.”
Mental and emotional wellness are central to Blueprint’s mission. How do you incorporate these elements into the educational content provided on the platform?
“We allow our thought leaders to tell their authentic stories, then personalize our students’ experience. Our goal is for a child to leave our program with a Blueprint of themselves.”
You’ve played a wide range of characters throughout your career. Is there a particular role that has had a lasting impact on you personally?
“I think they all leave an impact on you, some more than others. After ‘Reacher,’ it took me almost a year to heal a bruise from a stunt that went wrong!”
With a growing social media following, how do you balance your online presence with your professional and personal life?
“With acting, it can create a platform or a pedestal. But if you create a platform, you’re able to bring other people and causes you care about into the spotlight.”
What advice would you give to aspiring actors who are looking to navigate the industry and build a successful career?
“Every path is different. Do the work, ask for help, and find an incredible team that believes in you.”
Lastly, can you tease any upcoming projects or ventures that you’re excited about and that fans can look forward to?
“I can’t reveal them at this moment, but when I can, it’ll be a good one.”
