Desert Daze announced its awaited lineup in celebration for their 10 year celebration and in true nature – it is absolutely out of this world. Taking place from September 30-October 2 the festival will be making its return to Lake Perris, CA where the event has taken place for the past few goes. Not the only ones celebrating a decade in – Tame Impala will also be returning to the grounds celebrating the 10th anniversary of revered album Lonerism and attendees can anticipate getting to experience the album in full this fall. Filling the bill, the Australian headliner is joined by Iggy Pop for his only North American show this year and fellow Aussies King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard for an exclusive Southern California set.
The lineup clearly does not end there and is stacked with a genre-fluid roster that is sure to transcend all our musical spirits later this year. From returning acts like JJUUJJUU, L.A. Witch, Surfbort and Shannon and the Clams, to first time Desert Daze debuts like Nation of Language, The Marias, Inner Wave and Duster – there is a joyous time for all brewing amongst the lineup. We are so stoked to catch some anticipated acts all in one place, a few we definitely have our eye on for the weekend include: Chicano Batman, Sky Ferreira, BADBADNOTGOOD, Boy Pablo, Men I Trust, Mild High Club, Show Me The Body, The Paranoyds and Automatic. But let’s be real, catch us excited and running to make every set. Whether you want to watch front row from the barricades, nesting in the shady grass with friends or out on the sandy shores of the lake – there’s an adventurous way to catch all of your faves.
One of our favorite festivals over the past years, Desert Daze works more of a communal musical experience than festival. Make sure to get your camping gear and friends ready to set up shop for a weekend sure to be filled with deliciously curated food stations, creatively eccentric art installations and fashionably fun vendors. With a multi-sensory journey to await us – we look forward to seeing all of the activations, art and programming Desert Daze has in store for us this year.
All tickets and camping passes will become available June 16th at 10AM PST via Desert Daze’s official website. This year, they have also partnered with FUSE to help concertgoers put together hotel packages in a variety of budgets. Also look for additional lineup additions coming soon.
