Last year Timo Weiland’s first NYFW show certified the indie designers as the darlings of the fashion world. This year their show was established as the place to be amongst the hip fashion set and all emphasis of the “BE”  was placed on the runway with super models, Bradley Soileau and Dudley O’Shaughnessy walking this year. Timo Weiland are notorious for having the hippest + hottest girls and boys walking the catwalk in their wares looking cooler than even the baddest motherfuckers and their Fall/Winter 2012 show was no disappointment. There were heavy hitting creative types amongst the many show gazers, most notably Spank Rock, sitting front row in a head- to -toe plaid Timo get-up and all the wanna be “it girl” fashionistas you could possible image in a bourgeoisie room looking at each other with the most opinionated eyes. Then the show began.

But first a moment with the models:

I mean, seriously. I die. Bradley can do no wrong.

Oh heyyyy, Dudley O’Shaughnessy.

I want to get in emotional gut wrenching fights with you because we are so in love.

Ok back to the show itself. It was mix between grunge, punk, some unrelatable time in  the 90s and a few galactic references that made their points on the teeny weeny slip dresses that slightly billowed around the teeny weeny models,  all this with a dash of fur. The most decadent pieces were the fur and velvet that made up a good number of the items.
The mood somehow got lost between the idea and a well edited collection, still I walked away daydreaming about a few of the pieces magically appearing in my closet the next day.
