With the launch of PALU and his debut ICON bag, Christopher Palu isn’t just reentering the fashion conversation—he’s rewriting it. Sculptural, bold, and deeply personal, the ICON is more than a handbag—it’s a love letter to legacy, craftsmanship, and creative clarity. “This bag represents clarity,” he tells LADYGUNN. “It’s the first time in a very long time I’ve felt completely aligned with my work.” Drawing inspiration from vintage timepieces, protective armor, and heirlooms of the future, the ICON is both artifact and armor—a piece designed to outlast trend cycles and carry weight, literally and emotionally. With his namesake rebrand rooted in family, intention, and the grit-glamour duality of New York City, Palu channels decades of evolution—on and off screen—into something both timeless and defiant. “Now there’s no separation between who I am and what I create,” he says. “It’s deeply personal.”
To mark the launch, LADYGUNN celebrated in true style—with an intimate affair that matched the ICON’s energy: bold, sculptural, and unforgettable. From the sleek silhouettes on display to the emotional stories stitched into every detail, it was a night of power dressing, shared legacy, and creative liberation—and yes, we have the images to prove it. As Palu sets his sights on expanding the PALU universe with new silhouettes and shapes that challenge the idea of what an accessory can be, one thing is clear: the ICON is just the beginning. “Making my place in this world means everything to me,” he says. “And I’ll stop at nothing.”
