’Twas the day before 420, and all throughout Sultan Room and Turk’s Inn, hundreds gathered to celebrate the high holiday with queer cannabis brand FLAMER. Sasha Colby headlined the evening, with a live music performance by Cain Culto, comedy by James Tom, and more. There was an insane line up of notable Black femme DJs: Bridge, Dee Diggs, and PURR. Bridge closed out the night with a killer set with new Madonna, house beats, and disco classics. She ended the festivities on a high note. Some queer icons like Adam Lambert, Giovanni Luciano, Von, Armana Khan, Amanda Tori Meating, Colette March, and more were in attendance.

Comedian and HRTuesdays host, Jordan Snyder guided attendees through the comedy hour in the HEHE HAHA LOUNGE. Lollygag, one of our favorite clowns, opened the night with a stellar performance laced with stoner antics. Park Slope Arsonist had the  whole room cackling at her original songs woven into a stand-up set. MissMa’amShe hopped on the mic, drink in hand, and the crowd lost it for the duration of her set. To close out the show, James Tom brought it home with relatable remarks about how lesbians and gay gays do everything differently—tomfoolery with some truth to it.

After some laughs, people were welcome to have a puff with Flower Daddy and enjoy the cozy vibes of the Pillow Princess fort on the rooftop. For the divas that don’t smoke, Off hours provided their special Daydream gummies. Lesbian Bar Princess, Malea was the Pillow Princess for the day and passed out lube, while Daddy (Mercedes) showed off the upcoming harness by Banana Split

Later, partygoers packed in front of the Revelation stage to see the HOLE PICS show with Sasha Colby and Cain Culto. The opening number featured MTHR TRSA, Buffy, MissMa’amShe, and Cherry Jaymes, with special guests HAZYL, Sesbian Lex, and Faggot the Clown LLC. The show was electric and seamless. Cain’s high-energy set flowed into more performance art and drag, ending with a finale number of Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” by the queens and Sasha.

FLAMER’s 420 celebration was a technicolor dream of a party—a true celebration of queer art, talent, entertainment, and community.
