Cape Town/London-based, alt-folktronic trio, THE WINTYR, premieres their video, “This Water”, from their upcoming album, Fury, due out March 10, 2017.
Frontwoman Evelyn Hart describes “This Water” as, “A concept piece about finding and knowing your purpose. Represented by water and wine, the question is always asked: Who are you and where are you going? The idea is to take people on a journey of discovery just as the main character searches for meaning,” She says as breathlessly as the song itself.
The video was conceptualized and directed by Rash Ferguson, and shot in various locations around Cape Town, South Africa. THE WINTYR will be bringing their eclectic roots and sound to the US and Europe in the first half of 2017 on the heels of Fury.
