VIDEO PREMIERE: SHORT TERM PLAN – MICHELLE XEN

Straight off the forthcoming debut EP, Dynamics of Disobedience, from Australian electro musician Michelle Xen, the video for new single “Short Term Plan” is like a hyper-charged dose of future-disco: all strobe lights, 80s discotheque synths, and enough fierce servings of face to make a catwalk model weep in her couture.

Sonically, the track itself is like a dynamic fusion of Peaches’ electro-punk and Goldfrapp’s glittery glam-pop a la 2005’s Supernature. In other words, it’s a hypnotic, glitched out hybrid of pop, punk and electronica that LADYGUNN is stoked to premiere. The future is now, and it sounds a lot like Michelle Xen.
