“Drive is a love song between a woman and her car,” Lexie Roth says of her breezy hair blowing single. In the cinematic tale for the song, she leaves her sorrows behind, driving through heartbreaking metaphorical riffs of escaping domestic violence and the woes of life with no end in sight.

This video is also a celebration of the strength of millions who have had to leave or got left behind in relationship traumas.  Director, Liv Colliander and Lexie both summoned real life experiences of mental and physical abuse to create the video and message they wanted to come to life. Liv says, “The journey shows her transformation back into being a free, independent and strong woman. It is a journey we both want to inspire in the world.”

If you know someone, or you are going through any abuse please help.  Speak and listen to friends, family members, or acquaintances who come to you with stories of violence. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT and can save lives. Talk about it. Educate yourself about domestic violence and pass along the knowledge to friends and family. Things change much faster if we direct our energies to change them and we watch out for one another. We love you.
