LA-based trio, Little Monarch is a dreamy, electronic, jazzy popcation.   The band’s tropical soundwave and beats transport you to an island of ear happiness no matter where you might be.
Little Monarch is essentially a beautiful music marriage of artist. The band was formed when Casey Kalmenson (vocals, guitar), found herself in the audience at one of Lanita Smith (vocals, keys), solo live performances and approached her to collaborate. Justin Andres, (guitar, bass,  joined next and Little Monarch started their dynasty.  The combination of soul, reggae, rock, and pop influences in the band’s catchy eclectic sounds leads to instance happiness.
Thier debut self-titled EP  garnered viral success on Spotify with over 15 million streams since its October 2016 release. Little Monarch will be dropping an EP later this year and “Tangerine” which we premiere today is just a lovely taste of that. They say of the track,
“We are so excited to release new music and start tour! “Tangerine” is the first single off our upcoming EP. The song started with the guitar riff, and we found ourselves building on this feeling of escaping to a magical island off an emerald bay Ă  la Wes Andersons “Moonrise Kingdom”.  Leaving your old ways behind in search of the next great adventure.”
