Rubblebucket is back with their new EP, Oversaturated, which takes us listeners through a musical journey of freedom, liberation and an exciting escapade of love and energy. Lead singer, Kal grabs us right away on the first track, “(Focus) Oversaturated” almost putting us in a trance, but in a good way.
Perhaps one of the most energetic 8 piece bands at the moment, Rubblebucket is based in Brooklyn and Boston and is certainly known for their live show. People often walk out trying to re-count what they just witnessed; between Robot puppets that come out and dance, LED lighting tricks, and a crowd-surfing horn-section – there’s something for everyone with Rubblebucket. Omega La La, the band’s sophomore album was produced by Eric Broucek (LCD Soundsystem, !!!, etc) at the DFA Studios. Live in Chicago was recorded at the Double Door in Chicago fall of 2011. The Forthcoming EP, Oversaturated, was recorded at Bear Creek Studios with Ryan Hadlock (The Gossip, Fleet Foxes, etc.), and marks a new era for Rubblebucket.
