This season New York debuted it’s inaugural Men’s Fashion week- separate from the Women’s collections, during the scorching month of July. How better to lead off the four day FASHIONpalooza than with a collective of shows geared towards the city’s most fashionable men.
One of the featured designers was Boyswear. The designer, Jackson McKeehan first debuted his collection in the summer of 2014, but has since taken the brand on a much more youthful route.  This s/s2016 collection was filled with a boyish mischievousness that only a boy with style and a penchant for fun would be able to pull off.
Bold wide stripes on top of psychedelic prints meshed well with the bright colours.
I really enjoyed the whimsical Yves blue jumper which was paired with a sure to stay staple of the season, the masculine flower power tank.
Due to the minimal slick back hair styling coupled with fresh faces and simple sandal treatment, the clothing stood out. It was not too kitschy and allowed the designer a personal statement. While we may be forever young, style is the one thing that’s sure to be eternal-just don’t take yourself too serious.  No one else does.
