Margie Plus Launches Hollywood’s Hottest New Thursday Party, TASTE!
Our resident socialista Margie Plus and Sunset at EDITION just launched Hollywood’s hottest new Thursday party called TASTE! and LADYGUNN was front and center to co-host the grand opening night.
The weekly programming kicked off Thursday, February 15th, with an invite-only extravaganza with sounds by Shaun Ross, MAAD, and Harald Austad. Co hosted with nightlife icon Allison Melnick and Zach Zumb . In celebration of TASTE and her birthday, Margie performed her new dance single ‘I Need It Now’, which dropped at midnight and had the audience like Chanel West Coast dancing under the disco balls. By the end of the night Shaun Ross had party goers thinking they were at a ball commentating runway walks and vogue slays from the House of Miyake Mugler and the House of Basquiat.
Margie Plus is a body positive model, singer, and tastemaker who is taking LA by storm with her hot new weekly industry party ‘TASTE‘ at Sunset. Best known for her features as a confidence activist in Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty for Amazon Prime, she is a TV personality and host with appearances on BRAVO, MTV, LADYGUNN, and LAFW. Her and her artist husband Harald Austad will also soon be appearing in her bestie Chanel West Coast’s new reality show on MTV broadcast and Paramount+ airing summer 2024.
Margie got her start in the industry as a NYC club kid and a member of the Iconic House of Miyake Mugler. After moving to LA, she quickly became a red carpet and nightlife staple known for being the life of the party.

Taking place each week from 10pm to 2am, the Thursday night party promises a one of a kind experience. The industry-led night will bring together VIPs, influencers, and creatives across fashion, music, and entertainment. Set to become Hollywood’s ‘it’ night, TASTE is posed to offer a shared space for like-minded creatives to connect under Sunset at EDITION’s 400 mirrored disco balls. The Thursday evenings will also play host to regular surprise acts, showcasing local and world-renowned musical talents.
