Signed to Capitol Records, LA-based rock duo In The Valley Below not only excite with their flawless blend of organic and electronic instrumentation, but they also know how to impress through their live set. Having just seen them play a sold out show last night in Los Angeles with White Lies, I witnessed first hand at how abundant their sound is live and how much attention they can command, whereas some bands can often fall flat. So, I couldn’t help but to pick their lush and vivid single, “Peaches”, off of their EP titled Hymnal as our song of the week. As In The Valley Below continues to embark on a lengthy tour with White Lies, the band will also be making stops at CMJ from October 15th-19th. Now all we have to do is eagerly await their debut album.
