One of our fav pop songstresses, Bailey Bryan, has dropped yet another emotional, sensitive bad bitch track off her forthcoming project Fresh Start, and we’ve got the EXCLUSIVE premiere of the track’s accompanying video right here at LADYGUNN. “Temporary” tells the story of the emotional roller coaster that comes with understanding that the unsustainable love one is currently in will ultimately need to come to an end. “‘Temporary’ is just me being really honest about not knowing how to let go of something that I knew couldn’t last, and all the damage that piled up the longer I tried to hold on,” Bryan expresses. “I hope it’s a song that people can listen to before they actually do make the decision to let go.”
And Bryan knows that letting go isn’t always that easy. The song’s accompanying video physically manifests the heavy emotions that come with the process of letting go through the use of water: her hair, the bed, her clothing – all weighed down by lingering feelings & bouts of regret. “The ‘Temporary’ music video might be my most symbolic video yet,” Bryan tells LADYGUNN. “It’s meant to tell the story of the consequences of giving too much of yourself, your time, your body, your energy to someone or something that is temporary.”
