The 60s mod squad / proclaimed “Sea Monster” inspired Karen Walker show was typical Karen Walker, fun, quirky and a bunch of must haves. The show had a very  kitschy feel to it and her inspiration left a lot to the imagination. I guess I could see the influence in the bold paisley prints, fuzzy sweaters and brocade dresses but the pieces that stood out were the tailored tomboyish pants, her amazing sunglasses and that sophisticated hipster girl aesthetic that embodied all of the clothes that went down the runway. All of the models looked SO cool. Like too cool for school kind of thing and I decided I need to get a plaid coat for the fall. It doesn’t get more 60s Parisian than a plaid coat, cat eyeliner and spliffs, well the Parisian look that I will be going for.
Front row; Man Repeller, Cory Kennedy, Dani Stahl Blah , blah. I have a headache so I will just have to write a haiku to sum up everything else.
Front Row got sunnies
Pissed I didn’t get a bag
Maybe next year, yeah?
