#NYFW’s demographics of the wild, the beautiful and the bold were on full display during our Rico Nasty NO.18 cover reveal presented with emerging lifestyle brand SWNY. Stylist and Creative Director for the brand StyledbyPhil says, “Our slogan is Say what you want, wear what you want. We are building a platform to wear clothes that are a form of expression without gender hang-ups,” and the energy of the night was just that.
Tequila Tromba quenched our thirst, Hateboy and Zuri Marley kept the crowd of fashion and music insiders, socialites, models and musicians swaying throughout their conversation and special performances by Banoffee and Mthrtrsa kept us all in awe of the creativity and spirit of New York.
As cover girl Rico Nasty exclaimed as she spoke out into the crowd, “Y’all are beautiful.” Highlighting her favorite painted faces of admirers and chosen fans who were selected to partake in the night. Later she gave a, “Big shout out to all the amazing women that came out last night to the reveal 💦🥶It was so good to see some of my fans as well and just be surrounded with some great energy.”
